About this site

For years I have been sharing a google doc of my recommendations for people when they come to Barcelona. This is for all of the people who loved them and told me I should turn it into a blog.

My name is Elena and I am a Spanish-American living in Barcelona (most of the time).

I spent my school years in Kentucky on a farm with lots of animals, most notably our herd of seven incestuous miniature donkeys, and my summers with family in Madrid. From there I've lived in Soto del Real, Nashville, and Hong Kong with shorter stints in Florida, New Jersey, Madrid and Toronto while traveling to countless places in between. It's hard to keep me anywhere for long, but I've been in Barcelona off and on since 2017.
